Simple Thank You card....

I made this card for a couple of gifts we received. I got a Coach bag and Johnnie got a Coach wallet. So I got my inspiration for the thank you card from this wallet box.

So here is my real quick and simple thank you card.

I recycled the ribbon from my present. Looking at the picture now, I wished I would have ironed the ribbon before I put it on the card. Here is a close-up of the embossing.

Ghosting Christmas.....

Ghosting is what the technique is called that was used for this card. I decided to join in on the ghosting challenge at Just Us Girls Blog. I really had a hard time today being creative. I think it shows a lil bit. But I think it is kinda cute. BTW, I used the scoring tool from Stampin' Up! to make the background (seen in red).

Fourth and Final in my "Peace on Earth" Series

This card is as sweet as crumb cake! There's a lot going on here but yet it has a simple look. It's got glitter, crimping and embossing OH MY! See the silver snowflakes?

Number 3 in my "Peace on Earth" series

This is card 3 of my "Peace on Earth" mini series. I have one more left to do. For this one, I am participating in a challenge from Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  I struggled with this card for some reason. It's a miracle that it still has any glitter left on it. When making cards, sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss. What do you think here, a miss? I do like the inside...... and the outside is growing on me.....

Beautiful Baby

I have taken a little break from my "Peace on Earth" mini series. I had to do this color challenge from CR84FN Color Challenge . I got the inspiration for this card from a baby gift I bought not too long ago.  It was a little dress with lots of pink ruffles and black polka dots. When I found this challenge I thought of that little outfit first thing.

First in a "Peace on Earth" series

I have decided to make four different (but similar) cards with this same stamp. This is number one. I don't have any idea what the next three will be yet. I do know that they will all have the same dove with glitter thingy. So check back later!
