No. 2 in my "Peace on Earth" series

For my series number 2 card, I decided to participate in this sketch challenge. Everything in this card is from Stampin' Up! I hope you like my version of Sketch 140 AND card number 2 of my "Peace on Earth" series. Click here to see the Card Patterns Weekly Sketch blog.

First in a "Peace on Earth" series

I have decided to make four different (but similar) cards with this same stamp. This is number one. I don't have any idea what the next three will be yet. I do know that they will all have the same dove with glitter thingy. So check back later!

A simple sympathy card....

I need some cards to send to a couple of boys and a couple of men. I think these will do. I wanted to make something simple and not too detailed since it's for guys. So anyway, these look similar but are still different in little ways. I had fun making this little group of owls. I hope the pictures are not too dark to see. I took them outside and almost waited too late.

Umbrella Man

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass....it's about learning to dance in the rain. That is on the inside of the card.  I found the "umbrella man" embossing folder at Hobby Lobby. It's from the Tim Holtz's Alerations line seen here. I really like his stamping supplies and accessories. He is really talented. This card is going to a friend. (btw, the sun shines on the inside of the card)

A Fall Thank You.....

I am having trouble getting into the creative mode but here is a Thank You card I made to send to a guy. I guess at least it looks masculine (sorta).

Thank you card for a guy?

This is a real leaf under vellum. I put the leaf on dimensionals. The ribbon is frayed a little bit. The colors are cajun craze, cherry cobbler, very vanilla and early espresso.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Splitcoast is a great place to get tons of ideas and can get you on the fast track to a cute card in no time. I cased this card from a girl named Karen I think. I changed it up quite a bit and made this for a little girl turning one. Not my best work but I needed a quick card.
