WHAT?!...I haven't posted since last YEAR?!!

WOW, it has been awhile, huh? As you know, I have been redecorating the kid's bedrooms and with the couple of part-time jobs, I haven't had extra time to organize my stamping area enough to make room to stamp. BUT, that is all about to change. I made this card today for Anne C. She needed a sympathy card but she didn't have a sympathy stamp set or time to make a card. So I told her that I had a card. When I went to get one out of my cards, I didn't really have one. So I decided to clear off my table and make a card. MAN, AM I RUSTY! But, I had so much fun. However, I am going to have to put my stamping on hold AGAIN! I am going to take everything out of this (utility/storage/stamping) room. I am going to clean and paint before the new washer and dryer comes on Friday. Then we will put most of everything back in. Hopefully when we do that, it will be neatly organized so that I can get back to stamping on a regular basis. So here is Anne's card. I hope she likes it.

Home for Christmas......

Ok, I say it all the time but I am going to say it again...this card is much prettier in person.

I guess what I am doing here is making my Christmas cards one at a time. Most people make them in bulk and usually sooner than a week before Christmas. I'm keeping it fun, lol.

The stamp set is called "Home for Christmas".

Christmas Tweet Bags.....

These treat bags were made for a group of boys making bird houses at a Christmas Party. I seen this idea from another demonstrator but I can't remember whoooooooo (lol). More than likely it is somebody that is listed in my favorite blogs to visit list.

Sage Shadow Christmas Card....

I am making Christmas cards....very slowly. But what can I do.....I can't rush it people! Although, it will soon be too late, this I know.

You've Got Mail!

I cased this card from someone on SCS. The stamp set is called Winter post. It is one of those sets where you want to use every stamp in the set all on the same card. I also added a few stamps from a couple of other sets too. But my favorite part .................
......is the inside. I don't know why. I just like it.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?

This is such a great stamp set. I never noticed it in the catalog. I didn't even know it existed until I seen a card made with it. It is called Sleigh Bells Ring. It is only $15.95. I love the holly too. See it on the envelope?

My first 2008 Christmas Card!

I'M BACK! I haven't posted anything in so long. It felt so good to sit down and finally make a card (even though I don't have time to be stampin right now). I just couldn't resist.

Oh my goodness, it is chilly this morning. Christmas is on its way. Are you getting ready? Oh, but we are having such a beautiful fall.....let's enjoy that first!

This card was really easy. I don't watercolor very much cause I don't think that I am very good at it but I think the secret to water coloring is ........not being very good at it, sshhhhhh. Seriously, you don't have to be good. After I "water colored", I used Glassy Glaze. Can you see the background stamp - Sanded? I love background stamps!
Hope to post again soon!

To everything there is a season.....

Except for friendship....it last forever. I was cleaning off my stamp table and this stamp set was under some papers. So I thought I would give it a stamp see. I wished I would have put the seasons in order (spring, summer, winter and fall instead of winter, fall, summer and spring) LOL, next time.

Ain't Life Grand?!!! HECK YEAH!

I love, LOVE this background stamp. Baroque is the name and fancy is the game. I embossed and it pops. If you guessed that this card is for a person turning 50, then you guessed right! Whohoo! 50! Fifty years old everybody!

Bountiful Blessings.

Oh my, just a quickie post...I am in a bit of a hurry. This is my entry for Beate's Weekend Challenge # 60. I hope you like it!

Happy Halloween Everybody, Ha, Ha, Ha (evil laugh)!

Ok, we tried a little sponging last night and here is the finished product. Yes, this is the stamp that I bought for a quarter coupled with the Lovely as a Tree set. The inks used are Apricot Appeal, Baja Breeze, Night of Navy and Basic Black. The cardstocks are Basic Black and Whisper White. This card needs a bat or a witch (or something), but folks, I don't have a bat or witch one. I do have the retired set "Booglie Eyes". I am going to have to break down and invest in some SU! Halloween sets.
